A device named Redmi 14C has been listed in the GSMA IMEI Database, a telltale sign that this new model is not too far from its official launch. It was first spotted under the codename 2409BRN2CL and then finally registered as Redmi 14C today.
This becomes even more interesting following the recent discovery of devices bearing the model numbers “C3N,” “C3NL,” “C3F,” and “C3F2.” The models were actually the first set of devices to feature a Media Tek Helio G81 processor. Evidence from global listings and specification sheets has now confirmed that one of the upcoming devices with this same processor will be the Redmi 14C.
Redmi 14C is the C3N and C3NL (NFC) versions among these 4 devices. The codenames of Redmi 14C will be “lake” for the non-NFC version and “pond” for the NFC version.
