Apart from the optimised processing, there is also optimised background memory management and faster responses to gestures. All these are aimed at making the tasks of multi-tasking extremely smooth, even for the latest device versions with the HyperOS 2-based firmware.
Improved Integration with the HyperOS 2 Ecosystem
The update also enhances integration with Xiaomi’s HyperConnect service, offering the convenience of device control without restrictions on the type of device, whether smartphone, tablet, or home appliances. This is ideal for managing Xiaomi Pads, SMART TV, or IoT devices from the interface itself.
For those who are interested in trying other system apps, you can readily update or unlock the hidden Xiaomi capabilities by installing the MemeOS Enhancer from the Google Play store.
Updating the POCO Launcher
Users can manually install the update for the POCO Launcher from the our HyperOSUpdates project, or from the tool MemeOS Enhancer. The application also gives the user extra controls over the appearance of the OS, therefore allowing them to gain early updates to other apps from Xiaomi even before they are available to the public.
