The POCO F5 has officially entered the internal testing phase for HyperOS 3, which marks an important milestone in Xiaomi’s broader rollout of its next-generation software. As seen on the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, among others, HyperOS 3 brings improved AI capabilities, refreshed system icons, and the new Super Island interface. Test builds are now appearing for early testers in both the EEA and India regions, confirming Xiaomi is getting ready to make the firmware publicly available any time soon. HyperOS 3 Internal Test Builds for POCO F5
Xiaomi prepared the very first internal test packages for the POCO F5, thus confirming that the software is not far from attaining stable release status. The firmware is already tagged by Xiaomi engineers as a “ready-to-publish” build, meaning that the testing stage is mainly focused on stability and optimization.
Available Internal Test Builds:
- EEA: OS3.0.0.1.VMREUXM
- India: OS3.0.0.1.VMRINXM
The packages will be based on Android 15, which will provide the base for the POCO F5 with HyperOS 3. Performance, visual consistency, and device longevity are expected to improve through improved system-level AI as part of the update.
HyperOS 3 Features Coming to POCO F5
HyperOS 3 has been rolling out to both the Xiaomi and POCO ecosystems in recent months. Most recently, before the POCO F5, this update has become available for devices like the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15T, Xiaomi 15T Pro, POCO F7 Ultra, Redmi Note 14 Pro+, POCO X7 Pro, and Redmi A3.
The HyperOS 3 on the POCO F5 will offer an assortment of upgrades:
Improvements and Enhancements
HyperOS 3 focuses on a refined user experience through modern interface elements and improved system intelligence; it introduces new animations, redesigned icons, and a polished UI style driven by quick and fluid device interactions.
Improvements in AI Performance
Offering more performance with a deeper layer of AI ingrained in Android 15, HyperOS 3 automates background processes and optimizes memory management while dynamically adjusting performance for everyday apps. This ensures smoother transitions and faster app loading on the POCO F5.
New Super Island Experience
Super Island boasts a dynamic UI module for notifications, alerts, and live interactions that adapt intelligently to user activity, turning the experience into a more functional and visually appealing one.
POCO F5 Rollout Expectations
Given that the internal builds have already been compiled, one would expect Xiaomi to start the public rollout rather soon. Completion of internal tests usually means a stable release is a few weeks away. One may update the system apps and Xiaomi ecosystem tools using HyperOSUpdates.com or the MemeOS Enhancer app from the Play Store. The MemeOS Enhancer app also unlocks hidden Xiaomi features and gives power users extended system control.
With the update, once it hits, the POCO F5 will be added to the ever-growing list of devices migrating into the HyperOS 3 generation.
