OPPO is preparing for a major launch event on March 17 where it will officially unveil the OPPO Find N6 foldable smartphone. Alongside the foldable device, the company will also introduce its next-generation smartwatch, the OPPO Watch X3.
Ahead of the announcement, OPPO has started revealing some of the smartwatch’s key health features, including a new hypertension risk assessment system designed to help users better understand their blood pressure trends.
New Hypertension Risk Assessment Feature
According to OPPO, the Watch X3 will introduce an upgraded non-intrusive hypertension risk assessment system. The company describes the smartwatch as a “health flagship” because of its advanced monitoring capabilities.
To develop the feature, OPPO partnered with Fuwai Hospital under the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. The collaboration focuses on a project called the Hypertension Risk Assessment Study, aimed at improving early detection of potential blood pressure issues.
With this system, the OPPO Watch X3 can analyze blood pressure patterns and fluctuations over time. The smartwatch is also designed to help users understand factors that may influence blood pressure and encourage healthier habits through personalized health goals.
Advanced Health Monitoring Features
In addition to hypertension risk assessment, the OPPO Watch X3 will include several other health monitoring tools commonly found in premium smartwatches.
These include heart rate monitoring, SpO₂ (blood oxygen) tracking, ECG support, and other wellness features. If the device launches globally with Wear OS, users can also expect access to a wide range of health and fitness apps.
Premium Design and Durable Build
Early teasers have already revealed some of the smartwatch’s design elements. The OPPO Watch X3 appears to feature a rotating crown and an additional side button, offering easier navigation through menus and apps.
The watch will also come with a band made from rubber or silicone, which can be adjusted using removable links for a more comfortable fit. Despite its stylish appearance, durability remains a key focus. The smartwatch is expected to arrive with an IP69 rating, making it resistant to dust and water. OPPO is also reportedly using an all-titanium build, giving the Watch X3 a premium and rugged design.
Global Launch Expected
While OPPO has officially confirmed the Watch X3 for the Chinese market, the company has not yet detailed its global availability. However, several reports suggest the smartwatch could launch internationally alongside the OPPO Find N6 shortly after the initial unveiling.
With its focus on advanced health tracking and a premium build, the OPPO Watch X3 could become one of the company’s most feature-packed smart watches yet.
