OPPO Watch X3 made its debut alongside the OPPO Find N6 in China, introducing a wave of new health tracking and smart features. Now, OPPO has confirmed that many of these capabilities won’t remain exclusive to the new smartwatch.
According to an official announcement, the company is preparing to roll out these upgrades to older models through the upcoming ColorOS Watch 16 update.
Smarter Health Tracking Takes Center Stage
One of the standout upgrades in ColorOS Watch 16 is the enhanced blood pressure assessment system. This feature builds on OPPO’s existing health ecosystem and introduces deeper insights into user health.
The update will allow users to monitor blood pressure fluctuations throughout the day, identify influencing factors, and even benefit from collaborations with specialized hospitals. This positions OPPO’s smartwatches as more advanced wellness companions rather than just fitness trackers.
In addition, a new 60-second AI-powered health check will provide quick access to up to 14 key health indicators, along with personalized recommendations based on activity levels and fitness readiness.
Refreshed Design and Smarter Interface
ColorOS Watch 16 also brings a noticeable visual overhaul. OPPO is introducing a completely redesigned interface focused on smoother navigation and improved comfort.
The new Super Module Watch Faces emphasize productivity and clarity, allowing users to customize layouts with multiple data points. Meanwhile, the updated Fluid Cloud feature enables quick access to real-time information such as flights, train schedules, ride-hailing updates, and notifications.
AI Features and Everyday Convenience
AI plays a bigger role in this update, with features like AI text summarization and enhanced smart interactions. The upgraded “Tap to Experience” will also allow users to make payments even when the screen is off, improving convenience for everyday use.
Automatic recording synchronization ensures that fitness and activity data seamlessly sync across devices, making tracking more efficient.
Eligible Devices for ColorOS Watch 16
OPPO has confirmed that several existing smartwatch models will receive the update. These include the Watch X2 series, Watch X lineup, and Watch S series, along with select OnePlus smartwatches.
While not all features will be available on every device, most of the major upgrades—including health tracking, design changes, and AI tools—will roll out to a wide range of models starting in June.
