OPPO is gearing up for a busy launch season in China, with the flagship Find X9 series expected to take center stage. However, fresh certification listings suggest the company is also preparing a new mid-range performance lineup. The upcoming OPPO K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro have now surfaced on TENAA, revealing key specifications, design details, and gaming-focused features ahead of launch.
OPPO may skip K14 Turbo, jump to K15 series
Recent reports indicate that OPPO could skip the K14 Turbo branding entirely and move straight to the K15 lineup. While this naming strategy hasn’t been officially confirmed, two new devices believed to be the OPPO K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro have appeared on TENAA.
The listings reveal model numbers PMH110 and PMG110, which are widely associated with the standard and Pro variants respectively. Alongside these identifiers, the certification also confirms previously leaked images and some core hardware details.
Display and design: High refresh rate gaming focus
The OPPO K15 Turbo is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, making it relatively compact compared to its sibling. Meanwhile, the K15 Turbo Pro could come with a larger 6.78-inch OLED panel.
Both devices are tipped to support an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate, positioning them as strong contenders in the gaming smartphone segment. An in-display fingerprint scanner is also expected on both models, maintaining a premium design approach.
OPPO K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro Performance: MediaTek Dimensity chips and high memory options
Under the hood, OPPO is likely to equip the K15 Turbo series with powerful MediaTek processors. The standard variant is rumored to feature the Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the Pro model could debut with the more advanced Dimensity 9500s.
Both smartphones are expected to offer up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and high-performance gaming.
Massive battery and fast charging
Battery life appears to be a major highlight of the K15 Turbo lineup. Both models are expected to pack batteries exceeding 7000mAh, which would place them among the largest in their category.
Fast charging support is tipped to reach 80W, allowing for quick top-ups despite the large battery capacity. The Pro variant may also include wireless charging, although this detail is yet to be confirmed.
Camera and gaming enhancements
In terms of optics, the OPPO K15 Turbo series is rumored to feature a 50MP main camera along with a 16MP front-facing shooter. While the camera setup seems standard, OPPO is clearly focusing more on performance and gaming features.
One of the standout additions could be an active cooling fan system, designed to maintain peak performance during extended gaming sessions. The devices may also include gaming shoulder buttons, further enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Expected launch timeline
Although OPPO has not officially announced these devices, early reports suggest a possible launch in April in China. A global rollout is also expected, but it may arrive later following the initial release.
With high refresh rate displays, massive batteries, and dedicated gaming features, the OPPO K15 Turbo series could emerge as a strong contender in the performance-focused smartphone segment.
