OPPO is reportedly preparing to expand its K-series lineup with two new performance-focused smartphones — the OPPO K15 Turbo and OPPO K15 Turbo Pro. While the company is currently focused on its foldable lineup and upcoming Find X series, fresh leaks suggest these K-series devices could debut as early as April.
According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, OPPO may still be finalizing the branding. However, the lineup is expected to include two variants, likely launching as the OPPO K15 Turbo and OPPO K15 Turbo Pro.
OPPO K15 Turbo and OPPO K15 Turbo Pro Refreshed design with active cooling system
Leaked images reveal a noticeable design shift for the OPPO K15 Turbo series. Both devices are expected to feature a flatter, more industrial aesthetic, with a metal frame and flat display replacing the curved styling seen in previous models.
The rear camera module has also been redesigned, giving the phones a more modern and aggressive look. One standout addition is the inclusion of an internal cooling fan — a feature carried over from the previous generation but further improved this time around. Ventilation cutouts along the frame and a capacitive touch button at the bottom hint at enhanced thermal management and gaming-focused functionality.
Both models are tipped to sport a 50MP dual rear camera setup, suggesting OPPO is prioritizing performance and efficiency over excessive camera hardware.
Display, chipset, and performance details
On the hardware side, the OPPO K15 Turbo Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, while the standard version could feature the Dimensity 8500 processor. This positioning indicates a clear performance gap between the two models.
The Pro variant is rumored to come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS flat display with a high refresh rate, delivering a smooth visual experience ideal for gaming and media consumption.
Top configurations may include up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, placing the device firmly in the high-performance category.
Given the upgraded internals, improved cooling system, and premium materials like the metal frame, a slight price increase over its predecessor is expected. More official details should surface as the anticipated April launch approaches.
