OPPO is wasting no time expanding its flagship lineup. Fresh off the unveiling of the OPPO Find N6, the company is already preparing to launch the next wave of premium devices — the Find X9s and OPPO Find X9 Ultra.
Now, the Find X9s has taken a significant step closer to launch after securing another key certification in China.
Find X9s clears 3C certification
A new OPPO smartphone with model number PME110 has officially passed China’s 3C quality certification. This model was previously linked to the Find X9s by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, further confirming its identity.
The certification listing reveals that the device will support 80W wired fast charging, aligning with OPPO’s focus on fast and efficient charging technologies in its flagship devices.
All major certifications now completed
The Find X9s has now completed the trio of mandatory certifications required before a smartphone can launch in China:
- 3C certification
- Network access license from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology
- SRRC certification
The SRRC listing also confirmed support for the N79 frequency band, indicating strong 5G connectivity capabilities.
With all regulatory approvals now secured, the device is essentially ready for an official announcement, expected as early as April.
Expected specifications and features
The OPPO Find X9s is shaping up to be a compact yet powerful flagship device. It is rumored to feature a 6.32-inch 1.5K display, making it slightly smaller than typical ultra-flagships while still delivering high resolution.
Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, ensuring top-tier performance for gaming and multitasking. It will likely run Android 16 with ColorOS 16 out of the box.
Camera upgrades and battery capacity
On the camera front, OPPO is reportedly pushing boundaries again. The Find X9s could feature:
- Dual 200MP primary sensors
- A 50MP ultra-wide lens
- A dedicated Danxia color lens for improved color accuracy
For selfies, the device is tipped to include a 32MP front-facing camera.
Battery life is another major highlight. The Find X9s is expected to pack a massive 7000mAh battery, with support for both 80W wired and wireless charging, making it one of the most power-packed flagships in its category.
Durability and launch timeline
The device is also expected to feature IP68/IP69 certification, ensuring resistance against dust and water — a must-have for modern premium smartphones.
With certifications now out of the way, the spotlight shifts to OPPO’s launch event. The Find X9s is widely expected to debut alongside the Find X9 Ultra sometime in April, where pricing and availability details will finally be revealed.
