Oppo has officially confirmed March 17 as the launch date for its next-generation foldable, the Oppo Find N6. Ahead of the unveiling, the company is already teasing one of the device’s biggest upgrades, a near-invisible crease with the tagline “Smooth as a River.”
Oppo Find N6 Launch Date Confirmed
The Oppo Find N6 will debut on March 17, and early teasers suggest the brand is doubling down on durability and long-term display quality. While the new model is expected to retain the ultra-thin design of its predecessor, reports indicate it will be even slimmer this time around.
A refined hinge mechanism appears to be the key upgrade, helping Oppo achieve what it describes as an almost creaseless foldable display.
“Shallow After Prolonged Use” — Oppo’s Bold Claim
The Head of the Oppo Find Series recently shared a hands-on video on Weibo showcasing the Find N6’s crease performance.
According to the executive:
“We’ve always believed that a shallow crease at the factory isn’t truly shallow; a shallow crease after prolonged use is the real deal. This time, the OPPO Find N6 aims not only for a stunning first impression when unfolded but also for a smooth finish after multiple folds.”
In the teaser clip, the foldable was shown being taken out of water with both the front and inner displays active. The crease appeared almost invisible even under light reflection — a major improvement if the real-world performance matches the demo.
TÜV Certification and “Flattest” Foldable Claim
Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station claims the Find N6 is currently the “flattest” foldable phone in the world.
The device has reportedly passed rigorous testing and certification from TÜV Rheinland. According to the source, multiple foldable phones on the market were tested, giving weight to the certification’s credibility.
Display, Hinge & Self-Healing Glass
Although Oppo has yet to reveal full specifications, leaks suggest:
- Inner Display: Around 8.12 inches
- Hinge: Seamless titanium alloy construction
- Glass Technology: New self-healing glass for improved durability
The titanium alloy hinge is said to enhance structural strength while reducing visible creasing over time. Meanwhile, the self-healing glass could help minimize minor scratches and wear from daily use.
AI Stylus With Industry-First AI Function
Oppo is also integrating advanced AI capabilities into the Find N6. Zhou Yibao revealed that the foldable will support an AI-powered stylus featuring what the company describes as the industry’s first AI function in a foldable pen experience.
According to Oppo, the stylus is designed to deliver a unique productivity experience — one that users “won’t want to go back” from after trying it.
Oppo Raising the Foldable Bar in 2026
With improved crease control, advanced hinge engineering, TÜV certification, self-healing glass, and AI-powered stylus features, the Oppo Find N6 is shaping up to be one of the most refined foldable smartphones of 2026.
More details, including pricing and availability, are expected at the official launch event on March 17.
