The update replaces the older icons styled in 3D for a new flat visual design, thereby offering cleaner navigation. The performance mode indicator is now yellow, not red, and the FPS display is much clearer.
What’s New in the Updated Game Turbo
The latest redesign is all about simplicity and readability. Xiaomi has moved away from heavy visuals and introduced a more minimalistic approach to design, meant to provide better usability during gaming sessions. This redesign of the UI makes Game Turbo closer to the visual language of recent HyperOS updates while still being familiar in layout for the existing user base.

Flat icons and a lighter interface reduce visual noise so that users can manage settings more efficiently while gaming. This also aligns with Xiaomi’s broader effort to unify design elements across system tools in HyperOS.

How to Install the Updated Version
To try the redesigned interface, users can install the Security App v11.8.8-251024.1.1 APK on compatible Xiaomi devices. Following installation, Game Turbo is updated automatically and shows the refreshed UI.
