New features list coming in POCO Launcher with HyperOS 2

As Xiaomi is preparing to debut the long-awaited HyperOS 2 this month, the latestannt updates with regard to interfaces would introduce major redesigns to the POCO Launcher for easier navigation, improved animations, and better layout customization. With the array of optimizations and bug fixes that come along with HyperOS 2, the user experience with this POCO Launcher is bound to be metamorphosed.

1. Bug Fixes and Optimizations

  • Return Animation Fix: After clicking on large icon, was an abnormal return animation. Now fixed and transitions should be much smoother.
  • Desktop Icons Display Fix: A bug where desktop icons were not showing up in certain scenarios has been fixed so as to allow a more consistent desktop experience.
  • Optimization of Layout Rules: Problems that occurred in some cases with the unavailability of desktop layout rules were resolved.
  • Drawer Mode Interface Display Optimization: The interface display was taken a notch higher with this mode by offering better organization and readability.

2. Better Desktop Layout

  • Space Optimization: After reassessment, excessive top space on the desktop layout has been deleted to create better balance and a cleaner interface.
  • Desktop Layout Redesign: A redesigned grid layout menu includes more personalization options, such as:
    • large format 4×6 with search box
    • 4×7 without search box
    • 5×8 with search box
    • without search box 5×9

3. Enhanced Animations and UI

  • New Folder Animations: Smooth new animations opening and closing of the folders imbue fluency into the interface.
  • MIUIX v3 Library Integration: Moving to the new MIUIX v3 UI library will further make the system more responsive, while transitions come out looking nice.
  • iOS-Style Recent Apps: The new multitasking interface is designed to resemble iOS: launching applications and switching between them have been made much easier.

4.^Improved Gestures and Folder Menus

  • Improved Gesture Menu: Refined gesture controls further simplify how one navigates or accesses functions and make it faster.
  • Folder Customization: Folder edit menus were redesigned; large folders can now be renamed more flexibly. The animation of the folders has also been updated.
  • Adapted for 2K Screens: POCO Launcher’s pop-up menus, amongst other elements fitted into this launcher, have been optimized to adapt to 2K screen displays for better visualization in high-resolution devices.

5. App Vault Redesign

  • The vault app menu is fresh new and easily manageable concerning the frequently accessed applications and shortcuts.

6. Further Enhancements

  • Tab Font Size Increase:Font size on top of the drawer bar increased for improved readability.
  • Bug Fixes: Several small bugs were fixed. For instance, icons occasionally disappeared for a few seconds after closing an application.

To that, with the introduction of HyperOS 2, Xiaomi is bound to give a boost to its game regarding user interface improvements and system optimizations. The latter sounds really sweet for users using the POCO Launcher; this makes everyday interaction smooth and enjoyable.     There is one hand mode but should look kinda like Samsung’s, could be more handy to use if one hand mode should be just like Samsung’s on either left or right side of the phone.

    When Hyper OS was launched replacing MIUI,my Poco 5 performance deteriorated,forcing me to boost my phone of abnormally excessive cache that runs to 5-6GB within hours which renders all my apps like you tube,FB becomes laggy and unresponsive..had to inconveniently factory reset ..hope I won’t undergo this experience again…my first and last POCO ever..
