iOS style recent apps may come with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.2

Following yesterday’s HyperOS 2.2 test announcement, new information regarding the new features as well as the devices being put through the test cycle is starting to surface. Although the exact changes remain under wraps at Xiaomi, there is rumor about the long-awaited feature being the first to see the light.

iOS-Style Recent Apps: Is It Finally Here

Prior to HyperOS 2’s launch, there was a teaser about the iOS-esque recent apps feature from Xiaomi, which failed to see the light of day in HyperOS 2 or HyperOS 2.1. As work is ongoing with version 2.2, there is more buzz about the long-rumored feature possibly being included.

HyperOS 2.2 is currently being tested on three flagship devices:

• Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro
• Redmi K70 Ultra
