HyperOS Weekly Bug Report: Xiaomi patches random shutdowns

Xiaomi continues its efforts to refine the HyperOS experience. In the latest report published by the developer team on February 6, 2026, several critical bugs frustrating users have officially been marked as “Resolved.”

This week’s report focuses heavily on stability issues affecting next-gen flagships like the Xiaomi 15 and POCO F7 Ultra. Here is the full list of fixed issues:

Critical Fixes (Priority: Critical)

Bugs that directly hindered user experience and required immediate attention have been patched in this wave:

• POCO F7 Ultra: The NullPointerException error, which caused the device to experience unexpected reboots and disrupted system stability, has been completely resolved.

• Xiaomi 15: A severe issue where the Camera app would not open or start at all on the flagship model has been fixed.

• Redmi Note 15 Pro: The persistent “Google has stopped working” error message that users frequently encountered has been addressed.

• Xiaomi 14T: A visual glitch causing the camera screen to flash white when adjusting focus has been corrected.

• Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G: Issues with Gmail Force Closing (FC) or becoming unresponsive on the tablet have been solved.

Major Improvements (Priority: Major)

Issues affecting general device performance and battery life were also addressed:

• POCO X6 Pro 5G: The battery drain issue caused by media codecs (MEDIA_CODEC) while using the device has been optimized.
