The Poco F7 Ultra is only available in the EU version, but it cannot be installed on the global version. The question is, when will the global version be available? I don’t want to unlock and tinker to install a version incompatible with the phone’s version, i.e., global.
After the dissapointment that was HyperOS 2 these major updates dont really excite me that much anymore, They hardly change anything with the so called “MAJOR” updates😭

All eligible devices should receive the HyperOS 2.2 update under the KBL firmware branch (2KBL.x.x.x), including the updated system framework, UI layer, memory model, animation engine, and full feature set.
However, the EEA channel is incorrectly serving VOOEUXM 2.0.211.0 / 2.0.212.0, which are only security patches – not the actual system update. This means:
no KBL framework
no HyperOS 2.2 UI
no new system modules
incorrect update branch assignment
failed OTA validation for official full ROM packages
missing regions
blocked bootloader unlocking
This is a technical OTA misconfiguration, not a user-side issue.
Please escalate this issue to the engineering team (Tier 2 / R&D).
EEA devices are stuck on the wrong firmware branch and cannot migrate to HyperOS 2.2 without server-side correction.

all release updates start only in W in their model, next time we buy poco or xiaomi phone we should check if the model starts with this W model so we can get updates, better not buy if not start with this priority models
