Five new Xiaomi devices get HyperOS 3 today

Xiaomi has officially launched the second phase of its HyperOS 3 Beta initiative, further expanding access to its latest operating system. Five additional devices are now eligible, including newly announced flagships like the REDMI K80 and Xiaomi MIX Flip 2. Users interested in participating can register via the Xiaomi Community’s designated internal test center, granting early access to upcoming software enhancements and the unique opportunity to provide feedback before wide release.

Updated Device List and Rollout Timeline

The newly eligible models cover both tablets and smartphones: Xiaomi MIX Flip 2Redmi K80Xiaomi Pad 7 UltraXiaomi Pad 7, and the Redmi K Pad. Beta deployment for these devices is scheduled to begin by September 17. These additions join a roster that already includes the Xiaomi 15 series and the Redmi K80 Pro from the program’s first phase.

Key Features of HyperOS 3

HyperOS 3 introduces a range of improvements designed to enhance the Xiaomi user experience. Notable changes include refreshed icons, updated battery and signal indicators, and improved animations and blur effects. The new Dynamic Island feature, modeled after similar high-end smartphone interfaces, is likely to attract attention. Xiaomi also reports a significant 30% boost in performance optimization.

Inter-device integration is also being strengthened, with the new ability for iPhone users to forward calls and SMS messages directly to Xiaomi devices—streamlining communications and user workflow. Additionally, the HyperOS Enhancer app is available in the Google Play Store, enabling users to unlock hidden features, update system applications, and receive the latest enhancements more easily.
