February 2026 patches are here for Xiaomi HyperOS devices

Xiaomi has swiftly begun deploying the February 2026 Android security patches. This new update wave covers a broad spectrum of devices, ranging from the latest flagships running HyperOS 3 (Android 16) to popular mid-range models still operating on HyperOS 2 (Android 14).

Routine Maintenance, No Critical Alarms

According to the latest Android Security Bulletin released by Google, there are no “critical” zero-day vulnerabilities or high-severity exploits flagged for immediate remediation this month. Consequently, this update appears to be a standard maintenance package focused on system stability, minor bug fixes, and protocol updates rather than emergency patching.

HyperOS 3 (Android 16) Devices

Xiaomi’s newest generation devices are getting priority access. Notably, the POCO X7 Pro has already started receiving the update across multiple regions, including Turkey.

Support continues for the previous generation, ensuring security consistency for older popular models.

You can manually check for these updates by navigating to Settings > My Device > Xiaomi HyperOS. If the update hasn’t appeared yet, it may be rolling out in batches and should reach your device shortly.
