Xiaomi is back with a bang in the tech circle, proclaiming the launch of HyperOS 2.0, with betterment promised toward user experience by the new features and enhancements.
The feature that has become the buzz of the device is the iOS-style recent app switcher. It’s way more intuitive and much better looking in how it lets the user traverse recently used applications. This new switcher differs quite a lot from the standard Android multitasking view and now is way more into what an Apple user could have seen on a device.

Pre-Requirements
The device needs to have Magisk running for the management of permission to access root and possibly to install new modules.
Setup Guide
- Root the smartphone with Magisk. This is a famous rooting solution that gives systemless root permission to the smartphone, hence allowing the installation of Magisk modules without touching the system partition.
- Simply follow on with device-specific instructions to have Magisk flashed. In most cases, you would have to patch the boot image and then flash it via fast boot.
- Install HyperOS 2.0 Recent Apps Switcher module developed by Kashis Cringey.
- Open Magisk Manager from your device.
- Click on the modules section and select ‘install from storage.’ – Now locate the module you have just downloaded and install it.
- Restart The Phone.
- Reboot your device after installing the module, or changes will not occur.
