As of February 21 and 22, 2026, Xiaomi has officially started rolling out new HyperOS updates and compiling internal test builds much earlier than anticipated. The extended quiet period we expected for update enthusiasts has been cut short, and fresh software is already hitting devices globally.
The Holiday Break is Over
Initially, the official holiday period spanning from February 17 to March 3 was set to significantly impact the release schedule, halting new internal tests and public rollouts. While Xiaomi did enter a “maintenance mode” for a few days, the workflow has rapidly picked up pace.
Over the weekend, our trackers at HyperOS Updates and XiaomiTime detected a flurry of new activity, including major Android 15 and Android 16-based updates for several popular POCO, Redmi, and Xiaomi models.
First Wave of Post-Holiday Updates
The development team hasn’t just resumed internal testing; they are actively pushing out Recovery ROMs to the public. Here are the devices that have already started receiving new builds as operations spin back up:
