Xiaomi is going to bring Google’s “Circle to Search” feature with the Xiaomi 14T series, which would be the first non-Samsung and non-Pixel device lineup with support for the feature. Although it was supposed to officially launch with the device on September 26, 2024, this feature’s availability will be extended on October 6, 2024. However, according to various reports, the feature can also be enabled by setting the system date to October 7.
It was initially called the “Circle to Search.” One could draw or tap a section of text or an image on their screen and instantly have it searched on Google. This feature, with time, developed into a more advanced feature, inclusive of translating text, scanning barcodes, looking up music, and even solving math equations.
Other likely AI-powered enhancements to arrive with the launch of the Xiaomi 14T series include AI Film editing, AI Subtitles, and AI Notes. It is also highly likely that it will roll on to future Xiaomi models going forward-the much-anticipated Xiaomi MIX Flip is expected to get “Circle to Search” later in 2024, according to Google’s aim to extend the feature across more Android devices.
