Battery life of future Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo phones revealed

Well-recognized blogger @Experiencemore has just disclosed the battery life specifications for the newest flagship phone iterations coming from Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo. A new leak shows that they are going to have super-large batteries packed in smaller, sleeker designs-made possible by developments in silicon battery technology.

Battery Details:

  • vivo X200: 6.6-inch display, 90W fast charging, 5800mAh battery.
  • OPPO Find X8: Crammed with 6.5 inches of display; 80W Wired + 50W Wireless Charging with a 5700mAh battery ±.
  • Xiaomi Mi 15: 6.3-inchdisplay,90W wired+50W wireless charging, 5400mAh battery ±.

Although the exact technical details may vary from one brand to another, customized screens and innovative battery stacking technologies enable all three brands to fit powerful batteries into a slim and compact body.

Fast Charging Revolution

Among the large batteries, the leak showed that the fast charging technology is also moving swiftly. The likes of OPPO’s 80W, OnePlus’ 100W, vivo/iQOO’s 90W, and Xiaomi’s 90W fast charging solutions have already set bars for how quick devices can charge. This means that brisk charging times may be expected across many brands come 2024.

What’s Next: MediaTek and Qualcomm Announcements

These are well-timed leaks, considering the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 are supposed to be announced this month. More precisely, the Dimensity 9400 will be officially announced on October 9th, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2024 will take place between October 21st and 23rd. Several flagships will use these next-generation chips, from Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo. Performance and battery life efficiency should improve with them.
