Vivo X300s teased with imaging features similar to Vivo X300 Ultra

Vivo continues to reveal details about its upcoming smartphones ahead of their expected debut later this month. The company is preparing to launch two devices — the Vivo X300 Ultra and the more compact Vivo X300s.

A new teaser shared by Vivo executive Han Boxiao highlights the imaging capabilities of the X300s, describing it as a super-powered small V-series” smartphone. Despite being the smaller model, the device is said to inherit many of the advanced imaging technologies found in the flagship X300 Ultra.

X300s focuses heavily on portrait and telephoto photography

According to the teaser, the Vivo X300s can be paired with the Lipstick 200” teleconverter, an accessory designed to enhance portrait and telephoto photography. The teleconverter enables professional portrait golden-angle shots, making it suitable for travel photography, candid portraits, and atmospheric snapshots.

The accessory is reportedly 27% lighter than its predecessor, making it easier to carry and more practical for mobile photography enthusiasts.

Han Boxiao also emphasized that capturing a strong sense of atmosphere is central to high-quality telephoto portrait photography. When paired with the 200mm teleconverter, the X300s is said to deliver what he calls super telephoto portrait freedom,” allowing users to capture distant subjects with impressive depth and detail.

For selfies, the device will include a 50MP front-facing camera.

Vivo preparing for launch later this month

With teasers appearing more frequently, it is clear that Vivo is building momentum ahead of the official unveiling of the Vivo X300s and Vivo X300 Ultra.

If the early details are accurate, the X300s could become one of the most capable compact camera-focused smartphones, bringing flagship-level imaging technology to a smaller device.
