The upcoming OPPO Find X9 Ultra continues to generate excitement as new leaks reveal more details about its advanced camera hardware. While OPPO has not officially confirmed the phone’s launch date yet, recent reports suggest the flagship device could debut as early as April.
As anticipation builds, a new leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has now shed light on the phone’s telephoto camera setup, hinting at one of the most powerful zoom systems seen on a smartphone.
Dual periscope telephoto cameras revealed
According to the latest information, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will feature two periscope telephoto lenses designed for long-range photography.
The setup reportedly includes:
- A 200MP 3x periscope telephoto lens
- A 50MP 10x periscope super telephoto lens
The 50MP 10x periscope lens is said to feature an f/3.5 aperture, allowing significantly more light to enter the sensor. Reports claim the lens can capture about three times more light than the telephoto camera found on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
If accurate, this could make the Find X9 Ultra the only smartphone with a native 10x optical zoom system, rather than relying heavily on digital zoom or sensor cropping.

Built-in teleconverter-like technology
The leak also suggests that OPPO may have integrated teleconverter-like functionality directly into the telephoto system.
This could explain the large camera bump seen in previously leaked real-life images of the device, which appears significantly bigger than typical flagship camera modules.
When responding to questions about the camera technology, Digital Chat Station hinted that the Find X9 Ultra’s native telephoto system is “in a class of its own.” The tipster also referenced the possibility of a Hasselblad-tuned super telephoto lens, continuing OPPO’s collaboration with Hasselblad for advanced mobile photography.
200MP telephoto could improve low-light zoom
The second telephoto camera — a 200MP 3x periscope lens — is also expected to deliver impressive performance.
Reports suggest this sensor will feature high light-gathering capability, potentially improving zoom photography in low-light conditions, an area where many smartphone telephoto cameras struggle.
With such high resolution, the camera could also enable high-quality hybrid zoom, allowing users to crop into images while maintaining strong detail.
OPPO Find X9 Ultra launch expected soon
Although OPPO has not confirmed an official launch date, multiple leaks now point toward an April unveiling for the Find X9 Ultra.
Given the increasing number of leaks and teasers surfacing online, the company may soon announce the launch event for its next camera-centric flagship.
More details are expected to surface as the anticipated launch approaches.
