Adimorah JudeVivo is continuing the rollout of OriginOS 6, its latest Android skin based on Android 16. Many eligible devices have already started receiving the update, while several others are still waiting as the company gradually expands the rollout.
The update recently started appearing for users of the Vivo V30, although the release is currently limited to a small group of users. Like most major software upgrades, the rollout is happening in phases before becoming widely available to all eligible devices.
With Android 17 already in beta testing, smartphone makers are now trying to complete their Android 16 update cycles. Finishing the current rollout allows companies like Vivo to focus on developing the next version of their software experience.
Vivo phones expected to receive OriginOS 6 in early 2026
According to Vivo’s rollout schedule, several devices across its V-series, T-series, and Y-series are still expected to receive the OriginOS 6 update in the first half of 2026.
