A new leak indicates that OPPO may soon expand its tablet lineup with the OPPO Pad 5 Pro, and the device could debut alongside the upcoming OPPO Find X9 Ultra and OPPO Find X9s smartphones.
According to reports, OPPO has already scheduled a launch event next month for its new flagship phones, but fresh information from well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station suggests the event may feature more than just smartphones. According to the leak, the company is also preparing a premium tablet that could compete with the upcoming Vivo Pad 6 Pro.
While OPPO has yet to officially confirm the device, several key specifications of the rumored tablet have already surfaced online.
Large 13.2-inch Display and Flagship Snapdragon Chip
Based on details shared on Weibo, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro is expected to feature a 13.2-inch large display, positioning it as a productivity-focused tablet suitable for entertainment, multitasking, and creative work.
Powering the device will reportedly be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. If the leak proves accurate, this chipset would place the Pad 5 Pro firmly in the premium tablet segment, delivering flagship-level performance for gaming, media editing, and demanding applications.
Massive Battery With Fast Charging
The tablet is also rumored to pack a 11,905mAh rated battery, with a typical capacity expected to reach around 13,000mAh. Such a large battery could allow the tablet to deliver extended usage time for streaming, gaming, and productivity tasks.
To keep charging times reasonable, the device is said to support 67W fast charging, which could potentially recharge the battery in under 90 minutes.
Camera Setup and Storage Options
For photography and video calls, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro is expected to include:
- 8MP front camera for video calls and selfies
- 13MP rear camera for basic photography and document scanning
The leak also reveals several memory configurations that users may be able to choose from. According to the tipster, the tablet could launch with storage and RAM combinations such as 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB.
However, the available color options remain unknown for now.
Possible Launch Timeline
Although OPPO has not officially confirmed the tablet, the timing of the leak suggests the OPPO Pad 5 Pro may debut during the same event as the OPPO Find X9 Ultra and OPPO Find X9s next month.
If that happens, OPPO could be preparing a broader ecosystem launch that includes flagship smartphones and a high-performance tablet aimed at competing with devices like the Vivo Pad 6 Pro in the Chinese market.
More leaks are expected to surface in the coming days, potentially revealing the tablet’s design, display technology, and color variants ahead of its anticipated release.
