OPPO Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Receive NBTC Certification in Thailand

OPPO appears to be preparing for the global launch of its next flagship smartphones. The upcoming OPPO Find X9 Ultra and OPPO Find X9s have now been spotted on Thailand’s certification database, confirming their names ahead of the expected launch.

Both devices recently passed certification from Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), suggesting that their official debut could be just around the corner.

NBTC Listing Confirms Model Numbers

According to the NBTC listing, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra carries the model number CPH2841, while the OPPO Find X9s is listed with the model number CPH2873.

Although the certification confirms the monikers of both smartphones, the database does not reveal any technical specifications. This is typical for NBTC listings, which mainly focus on confirming device approval for sale in the country.

Previous Certifications Point to Wider Launch

The two devices have also appeared on other certification platforms before this listing. Both smartphones were previously spotted on Indonesia’s TKDN and SDPI certification databases, indicating plans for availability in that market.

In addition, the Find X9s was approved earlier this year by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India, suggesting that the device could also launch in the Indian market.

With certifications now appearing across multiple regions, the OPPO Find X9 series is shaping up for a broader international rollout.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra: Expected Specifications

While OPPO has not officially confirmed the specifications yet, several leaks suggest that the Find X9 Ultra will be a camera-focused flagship smartphone.

The device is rumored to feature a quad-camera system, including:

  • A 200MP Sony LYT-901 main sensor
  • A 200MP OmniVision OV52A periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom
  • A 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom
  • A 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide camera with a 15mm focal length

Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device will reportedly ship with Android 16 based on ColorOS 16.

Power could come from a large 7,000mAh battery, with support for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The Find X9 Ultra is also expected to feature a 6.82-inch OLED display with 2K  resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a premium viewing experience.

OPPO Find X9s: A Slightly Different Approach

The OPPO Find X9s will reportedly feature some differences compared to the Ultra model. According to early reports, the device may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor instead of Qualcomm’s flagship chip.

The camera setup is also expected to be simpler, with the Find X9s rumored to feature three 50MP camera sensors instead of the quad-camera system on the Ultra variant.

Another possible change is the removal of wireless charging, which could help OPPO position the device at a slightly lower price point.

Competition in the Flagship Segment

If the leaked specifications prove accurate, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will compete with other high-end smartphones expected this year, including the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and Vivo X300 Ultra.

With multiple certifications now completed, the official launch of the Find X9 series could happen in the coming weeks. More details about pricing, availability, and full specifications are expected to emerge soon.
