Redmi Note 15 Pro’s rival is ready: Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 camera specs leaked!

The balance is shifting in the mid-range smartphone market, the most competitive segment of the industry. Detailed camera specifications for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 models have been leaked. The leaked data suggests that with these new generation devices, Samsung is launching a direct and powerful hardware offensive against Xiaomi’s market-dominating Redmi Note 15 series.

Galaxy A57: The New Camera Leader in the Mid-Range?

As the series’ premium model, the Galaxy A57 is positioned to compete directly with the higher-tier models of the Redmi Note 15 series through its sensor variety and technical capacity:

  • Main Camera: 50 MP Sony IMX906 / Samsung ISOCELL S5KGNJ.

  • Ultra-Wide Angle: 13 MP ISOCELL S5K3L6 (The selection of this sensor promises a higher level of detail in wide-angle performance).

  • Macro & Front Camera: 5 MP macro camera and a high-resolution 12 MP ISOCELL S5K3LC front camera.

Galaxy A37: An Uncompromising Approach to the Main Camera

In the Galaxy A37, which appeals to a broader audience, Samsung has made a strategic decision to keep the main camera at the same level as the A57. This creates a compelling reason to choose it over the Redmi Note 15 series for users seeking top-tier photo quality even in a more affordable model.

  • Main Camera: 50 MP Sony IMX906.

  • Auxiliary Sensors: To maintain cost balance, an 8 MP GalaxyCore ultra-wide angle, 5MP GalaxyCore macro, and a 12 MP GalaxyCore front camera have been utilized.

According to information obtained from software codes, Samsung aims to take physical hardware to the next level this year rather than relying solely on software algorithm improvements. The most notable innovation in both models is the significant increase in main camera sensor sizes.

The 1/1.95-inch sensor used in the previous generation Galaxy A36 is being replaced by the 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 (or the Samsung ISOCELL S5KGNJ, depending on the region). This move proves that the devices will exceed mid-range standards in low-light performance and dynamic range quality, approaching a high-end flagship experience.

Sectoral Analysis: The Direction of Competition is Changing

These new camera configurations from Samsung indicate that the ongoing “high megapixel” race in the mid-range will be replaced by a race for “larger sensors and optical quality.” It is worth noting that this leaked information is based on software parameters from prototype devices. However, the current picture clearly demonstrates Samsung’s determination to redefine optical hardware standards in the mid-range segment.
