On the other hand, POCO C81 will serve as the new phone model for global markets. This move has come as no surprise considering Xiaomi’s stance on branding. The funny thing is, Xiaomi didn’t introduce the REDMI A6; they only recently launched the REDMI A5.

It has a graphics-processing unit named Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that runs at a clock speed of 850 MHz. This GPU is designed to deliver entry-level graphics. This should not be a problem as far as the graphical requirements are concerned and system animations on HyperOS 3. The handset might come with 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM, and virtual RAM support may be enabled based on the software setup.
Display, Battery, & Charging Abilities
The REDMI A7 Pro and POCO C81 have a large display of 6.88 to 6.9 inches featuring an IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch screen. The display can display a total of 16.7 million colors.

The smartphone comes equipped with a 6000 mAh typical battery (nominal 5880 mAh battery), and the coding of this battery has been denoted as BM6S. The battery can be charged through the presence of a USB Type-C port and supports 15W wired charging. The company does not include the charger in the box.
Software, Camera, and Global Availability
Technologically, it is set to run on Android 15, along with Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which might come in Lite or Go Edition variants, optimized for entry-level models. The connectivity features set to be included in the phone are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5 (ac), Bluetooth 5.0.
The details of cameras appear not to be confirmed, but certification information points towards a single main camera, 13 MP or 50 MP AI cameras typical of entry-level smartphones. The internal storage choices include 64GB and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.2 flash.
As registered in the GSMA records, the device has the codename of “arctic” and it will be marketed in the following countries: “Europe (EEA)”, “Türkiye”, “India”, “Indonesia”, and “Russia”). Like the rest of the system apps of Xiaomi, it will be possible to upgrade supported apps on the website HyperOSUpdates.com as well as with the application “MemeOS Enhancer” on the Google Play store.
