Xiaomi has now officially confirmed that a critical call-related issue on the POCO F8 Pro has been solved with a new HyperOS update. The issue, which appeared on OS3.0.5.0.WPKEUXM, had caused call crackling, electric static noise, and occasionally it resulted in a one-way audio situation where the other party wasn’t able to hear the user. However, Xiaomi claims that the fix is contained in OS3.0.6.0.WPKEUXM, launched on December 21, 2025.
Details of the Call Issue Reported
Following the release of OS3.0.5.0.WPKEUXM, some POCO F8 Pro users began to face certain abnormal behavior during voice calls. Their reports typically mentioned hearing continuous static or crackling sounds and sometimes a one-way audio problem that interfered with normal communication. Though the problem may not be faced by all, the impact was serious enough for Xiaomi to quickly address it.
On a technical note, these issues are more often than not related to the audio framework handling, modem communication layers, or system-level optimizations brought on by recent builds. This issue was tracked down by the root cause via Xiaomi’s software team and prepared a targeted solution without changing user-facing features or system design.
HyperOS update OS3.0.6.0.WPKEUXM brings the fix.
With the newly released OS3.0.6.0.WPKEUXM update, POCO F8 Pro finally has its call noise and one-way audio issue fixed. Xiaomi confirms that call stability and audio transmission have been restored to normal levels, ensuring consistent voice quality across supported network conditions.
Most importantly, users are usually encouraged to look for an update by going through Settings > About phone > HyperOS version and installing the new build. It would be very much needed in keeping the device updated in terms of system stability, security improvements, and optimal hardware performance.
