The launch underlines Xiaomi’s strategy in the connected home appliance space, after recent developments across its Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem. Announced in China, the refrigerator was pitched as a flagship model for hygiene, energy efficiency, and long-term food preservation.
Price and Availability in China
The Mijia Refrigerator Pro 560L was listed in China with its starting price at 6,999 yuan, around $970 USD as of current market exchange rates. Xiaomi has said that this model was launched for the Chinese market, with regional government subsidies potentially taking the local retail price down even further in those eligible areas. There is no word at the time of this writing on the global availability of the product, which is consistent with how Xiaomi typically approaches regional rollouts for major home appliances.
It is positioned within the premium category of built-in refrigerators, with long-term durability, energy efficiency, and smart home integration into the Xiaomi ecosystem.
Design, Capacity, and Storage Architecture

The main technological feature of this model is Full-Area Ion Purification 2.0, which Xiaomi reports can achieve a bacteria removal rate of above 99.999% against E. coli. This technology is intended to maintain hygiene throughout the entire internal storage area.
Another central feature is Mijia Micro-Ice Fresh technology, supported by a dual independent cooling system. Indeed, with independent temperature regulation, fresh meat can reportedly stay preserved for as many as 10 days without freezing, maintaining texture and taste.
