Xiaomi launches ultra-light Mijia vacuum featuring 22,000Pa power and 40min battery

Xiaomi has now officially announced the new Mijia Lightweight Vacuum Cleaner in China, striking a very practical balance between powerful cleaning and light portability. It will be available from December 8 onwards. The vacuum cleaner is listed for 359 yuan, which translates to roughly $49.50 USD, but local government subsidies in China bring the effective price down to 305.15 yuan, or about $42.10 USD. This particular model concentrates on ease of use, lightweight design, and dependable motor performance for everyday home use.

Lightweight design focused on daily comfort

After the official launch, the Mijia Lightweight Vacuum Cleaner was designed in consideration of comfort during use. The device weighs only 860 grams, which further makes it much easier to handle during long cleaning sessions. It uses a 110,000rpm high-speed motor, which enables stable and efficient airflow without unnecessary vibration. This combination helps users clean stairs, sofas, and narrow corners with less hand fatigue. Xiaomi positions this vacuum as a daily-use product that focuses on portability and simple usability rather than complex smart functions.

Strong suction, fast debris removal

It provides a maximum suction of 22,000Pa and achieves 50AW of whole-machine suction power. Such values enable the device to quickly pick up hair, fine dust, and larger debris from various types of surfaces. The motor system has been optimized to provide stable suction during operation; this contributes to consistent cleaning results on carpets, hard floors, and furniture surfaces. The structure of the airflow channel is designed to minimize blockages and maintain airflow efficiency.

Battery life and charging capabilities

It features support for modern charging standards and long battery stability for the size category. The vacuum device would come fitted with a Type-C charging port to allow users to charge the device using widely available cables. The standard mode would allow the vacuum to run up to 40 minutes on a single charge, easily clearing multiple rooms in a single session. In its high-power mode, the battery life restricts it to approximately 10 minutes, designed for quick deep-clean tasks in difficult areas.

Filtration system and accessory support

Xiaomi has included a 200mL transparent dust cup, allowing the user to see how much dust has been collected and have the container easily cleaned out. There’s also a 5-stage filtration system, further assisting in trapping fine particles and keeping dust from leaking back into the air. There are two different configurations for brush heads in the box, supporting multiple cleaning scenarios: floor, furniture, keyboards, car interior, and more.
