This milestone, coming after just 602 days since the launch of the SU7 on March 28, 2024, means Xiaomi is the fastest new-energy vehicle manufacturer in the world to achieve the 500,000 unit mark. The event underlines the growing automotive ecosystem at Xiaomi and aligns well with the company’s bigger expansion plans.

After this milestone, Lei Jun, the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group, said that the shipment of 500,000 units proves the all-round capability of the firm: the efficiency in research and development, intelligent manufacturing, a strong retail and service network and optimized delivery. Lei Jun underscored that such a remarkable achievement indicates huge consumer confidence in Xiaomi Auto and ushers in a new era of large-scale production.
