POCO M6, Redmi 13, and Redmi 13X have begun to prepare for the highly awaited HyperOS 3 upgrade with Android 16.As per the internal test schedule of the Chinese brand Xiaomi, they have finally undergone internal testing with the new version of software – “OS3.0.1.0.WNTMIXM” and have been labeled as “Ready to Release.” This is tentatively going to take place between November and December.
HyperOS 3 Brings Significant AI & Visual Upgrades
HyperOS 3, which is found in the current line-up of the Xiaomi 15 series of phones, also launches a “new era of AI optimizations,” “new icons,” and “a more fluid iOS interface.” This version of the operating system brings “optimized animation,” “memory management,” and features the “Super Island. This is similar to Apple’s “Dynamic Island.”
Aside from visual upgrades, HyperOS 3 also introduces smarter system recommendations, photo editing support through AI technology, and improved cloud synchronization through the Xiaomi HyperConnect, which ensures seamless data transfer between phones, tablets, and AIoT devices.
Android 16 – An Introduction to Its Expansion Across Xiaomi Devices
The Android 16 upgrade rolled out to flagships such as Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, 15 Ultra, 15T, and POCO F7 Ultra, as well as entry-level devices such as Redmi A3. This is another effort by the brand to upgrade their mid-range market worldwide with the Android 16 operating system.
The POCO M6, Redmi 13, and Redmi 13X will be among the first phones to take advantage of the AI and UI enhancements brought by Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
Downloading and Updating
Once the roll out process begins, users can upgrade through their system setting options or through the “MemeOS Enhancer” app. This app also includes unlocking hidden features in Xiaomis, manually updating the system apps, and releasing firmwares.
