This is one of main reasons why many people think twice about buying phones and tablets. For phone i went Samsung for this reason, i dwell a lot of time on buying a Xiaomi tablet and did it and i am happy with it, but the software side is unremarkable. i had to install GCAM app to get raw photo saving just because the Xiaomi photo software for a high spec Xiaomi tablet is subpar.
