Xiaomi shows off REDMI K80 Ultra and REDMI K Pad design

Xiaomi’s REDMI division has officially unveiled new visuals for the highly anticipated K80 Ultra flagship smartphone and the K Pad tablet, positioning both under the “Double K Devil” performance banner. The Moon Rock White variant of the K80 Ultra represents a significant step forward in design language, featuring a four-curved metal middle frame and a flagship-level fiberglass back panel. Both devices leverage MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ processor, placing them firmly in the premium performance segment. Wang Teng, REDMI’s General Manager, described the devices as “luxury machines without shortcomings,” underscoring their ambitions in the high-end market.

Dimensity 9400+ Delivers Flagship Performance

With the K80 Ultra and K Pad, REDMI is clearly focused on delivering flagship-tier performance across multiple product categories. Recent Geekbench scores—2,827 single-core and 8,547 multi-core—confirm the Dimensity 9400+ processor’s capabilities and reinforce REDMI’s performance claims.

The K80 Ultra is constructed with an eye for quality. It offers a 6.83-inch flat display with large R-angle curves, creating an immersive and refined user experience. The device also features ultrasonic fingerprint authentication, upgraded speakers, and advanced haptic motors—components that Wang Teng has described as “fully maxed out” to meet the expectations of discerning users.

K Pad: Compact, Competitive, and Feature-Rich

REDMI’s K Pad enters the small tablet segment with an 8.8-inch display, which the company refers to as the “golden size” for balancing portability and usability. The tablet utilizes advanced LCD display technology with dual DDIC controllers for ultra-high resolution. Custom-engineered motors, speakers, and display panels help keep the device both lightweight and slim, ensuring a premium feel.

Both devices are scheduled to launch at the end of the month. The K80 Ultra is positioned in the premium 3,000 yuan (417 USD) segment, while the K Pad enters the luxury 4,000 yuan (550 USD) range in China.

Global Availability

REDMI K80 Ultra will not be introduced globally. However, Xiaomi 15T Pro will be introduced as a similar model. REDMI K Pad will come to the global market except India.
