Xiaomi’s 15th anniversary launch unveils XRING Chips, YU7 EV, phones, tablet and more

These launches signal Xiaomi’s push deeper into self-developed silicon, premium hardware, and intelligent mobility, setting a new benchmark for its next decade of tech innovation.

Xiaomi O1 Chip

At Xiaomi’s 15th Anniversary Strategic Launch Event, the company officially unveiled its in-house XRING O1 processor, positioning it among the top-tier flagship mobile chips. According to Xiaomi founder Lei Jun, the XRING O1 stands firmly in the first echelon of high-performance SoCs. Built using TSMC’s advanced 3nm process, the chip contains 19 billion transistors within a compact 109mm² die size. It features a 10-core quad-cluster architecture comprising 2 ultra-large cores (up to 3.9GHz), 4 performance cores, 2 energy-efficient cores, and 2 ultra-efficient cores. Benchmarks show an AnTuTu score exceeding 3 million, with single-core scores over 3,000 and multi-core scores surpassing 9,500. For graphics, it incorporates the Immortalis-G925 GPU with 16 cores and dynamic performance scaling, reportedly outperforming Apple’s A18 Pro in both efficiency and power.

Xiaomi 15S Pro

At Xiaomi’s 15th Anniversary Product Launch, the company introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 15S Pro, powered by the groundbreaking XRING O1 processor—a self-developed 3nm chip boasting a 10-core CPU, 16-core Immortalis-G925 GPU, and over 19 billion transistors for top-tier AI, gaming, and multitasking performance. The 15S Pro features a stunning 6.73-inch OLED LTPO quad-curved display with 3200 nits peak brightness and Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0, alongside a pro-level imaging system powered by the XRING O1 ISP v4 that enables 4K full-focal video and exceptional low-light photography. XRING T1 Chip: Xiaomi’s First-Ever 4G Baseband

Headlining Xiaomi’s breakthrough in chip development is the XRING T1, a self-designed 4G baseband chip built for independent eSIM communication in smartwatches. Used in the Xiaomi Watch S4, the chip offers full 4G LTE protocol stack coverage across all network layers, passing 700+ lab tests for nationwide carrier compatibility.

This leap toward in-house baseband technology mirrors moves by other tech giants to reduce reliance on third-party modems, offering complete 4G functionality directly on wearable devices—no smartphone tethering required.

Xiaomi Watch S4: eSIM Smartwatch with XRING T1

Available in standard and 15th Anniversary eSIM Edition, the Xiaomi Watch S4 features the XRING T1 chip, delivering up to 9 days of battery life even on 4G standby. It supports:

Combining flagship specs with avant-garde design, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro debuts with the Snapdragon 8s Gen4 and Leica optics. The standout Iced American edition even infuses real coffee grounds into the back panel, giving off a subtle aroma.

Xiaomi YU7 SUV: Premium Electric Vehicle with 835km Range

In its most ambitious automotive move yet, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi YU7, an all-electric 800V platform SUV positioned above the SU7 sedan. With three trims and nine color options, the YU7 offers up to 835km of range, smart interiors, and a luxury-class ride.

Notable highlights:

• Zero-gravity Nappa seats with full recline and massage
• Skyline Mini-LED panoramic dashboard
• NVIDIA Thor chip (700 TOPS) for intelligent driving
• 0–100km/h in as fast as 3.23 seconds
• 620km fast-charging in just 15 minutes

While pricing hasn’t been confirmed, CEO Lei Jun said rumors of a ¥199,000 (~$27,500) price are “impossible,” hinting at a premium-tier offering.
