This surprising revelation came by way of a post from Lin Bin himself on social media, where he quietly hinted at the existence of the phone and strongly hinted at Xiaomi’s upcoming premium flagship phone as being imminent and poised to restore some popular features missing in some recent Xiaomi flagship phones.
The Resurgence of UWB Technology
Based on data that were discovered by Xiaomi enthusiasts, a fresh Xiaomi model 25042PN24C secured radio approval from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on March 28th this year. Its most prominent highlight among all discovered facts is ultra-wideband (UWB) radio transmission support that Xiaomi hasn’t included in its flagships since launching it in its MIX 4 device.
UWB technology allows for accurate spatial awareness and positioning among devices so that devices support easy “one-finger connection” capabilities. This capability debuted in the Xiaomi MIX 4 but mysteriously went missing in later flagship devices. The reintroduction of UWB technology is especially timely as Xiaomi pushes into the auto sector, where UWB unlocking capabilities are becoming more prevalent in vehicles today.

The smartphone, believed to be the Xiaomi 15S Pro, also earlier received 3C certification in January this year. The 3C certification indicates that the phone will be capable of supporting striking 90W Max fast charging technology so that users can rapidly charge their phones even with an expected high battery capacity.

Easily the most innovative feature on the Xiaomi 15S Pro is the inclusion of Xiaomi’s very first internally developed processor, the XRING O1 chip.
