Xiaomi pushes third HyperOS 2.2 beta update

Xiaomi has now officially released the third HyperOS 2.2 Beta update only for China-based Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro devices. This is the third update under the beta program, which includes various optimisations and bug fixes to improve the overall user experience. The fresh update, based on Android 15, continues to show Xiaomi’s dedication to polishing their in-house operating system with added emphasis placed on accessibility enhancements as well as system optimisations.

What is New in HyperOS 2.2 Beta

The latest beta release brings various enhancements to both flagships. Following are the major changes that users will notice:

When will The Stable Version Be Released?

Although Xiaomi is yet to give an official release date to HyperOS 2.2’s stable release, we expect it to roll out to all other markets in the coming months after thorough testing in China. The “Mi Pilot Release” beta scheme suggests that Xiaomi is still collecting user experience before making the update widely available. For those who are keen to experiment with the beta release, there are official recovery ROM files, though we suggest waiting for the release of the stable version unless you are at ease with bugs and issues associated with beta software.
