Xiaomi 15T series leaked informations emerged

Xiaomi recently released the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra at MWC 2025, which generated immense excitement among smartphone enthusiasts. The company is already working on its next flagship lineup—the Xiaomi 15T series. The latest HyperOS 2.1 software leaks have provided us with the first glimpse of these new phones, revealing interesting details about their codenames, specifications, and market availability.

Since it is a series for offering premium performance at budget-friendly prices, the Xiaomi 15T series is bound to match Xiaomi’s expectations for high-end smartphones. Xiaomi 15 and HyperOS 2.1 users may be interested in these new phones specifically.

What is Known About the Xiaomi 15T Series?

Artistic Codenames and Shared Hardware

Xiaomi continues its tradition of naming its T-range phones after great artists. The Xiaomi 15T is internally referred to as “klimt” in the name of Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, while the Xiaomi 15T Pro is referred to as “turner” in the name of British artist J.M.W. Turner. The names were discovered in Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.1 firmware.

Surprisingly, the Xiaomi 15T Pro and the Redmi K80 Ultra share the same “turner” codename. That means the phones will share very identical hardware and software, although there will be differentiations—primarily in camera configurations.

Model Numbers and Global Availability

The leaked firmware also reveals the model numbers for the above-mentioned devices:

  • Redmi K80 Ultra (Codename: Turner) – 25060RK16C (China)
  • Xiaomi 15T Pro – 2506BPN68G (Global), 2506BPN68R (Japan)
  • Xiaomi 15T – 25069PTEBG (Global)

These codes confirm the Xiaomi 15T Pro and Xiaomi 15T will be released globally, though, as with the previous T-series phones, they will be unavailable in India. Xiaomi decided to release the phones in other markets instead.

Expected Features and Performance

Xiaomi’s T-series is always centered on powerful specifications at a budget price, and the 15T series cannot be any different:

  • Xiaomi 15T – Fitted with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra, delivering effortless gaming and multitasking performance.
  • Xiaomi 15T Pro – Rumored to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, a flagship processor with the promise of unprecedented speed and efficiency.

Launch Date and Availability

The Xiaomi 15T series will be released along with the MIX Flip 2, as is the tradition with Xiaomi releasing the T-series and the foldables at the same time. The official release date should be September 2025, assuming Xiaomi sticks to its pattern.
