Xiaomi 12T HyperOS 2 Android 15 update is out

Xiaomi officially rolled out the HyperOS 2 Global Stable update on the Xiaomi 12T, which brings its new Android 15-based features to beta testers. The new release with its version as OS2.0.2.0.VLQMIXM is rolling out in its full form to users who are eligible. The step is another proof of Xiaomi’s commitment in terms of software updates. Being one of the first devices that received its HyperOS 2.0 stable release, users on the Xiaomi 12T can expect a more enhanced performance, smoother animations, as well as improved system security. Xiaomi HyperOS is continuing its feature refinement with a more optimized global users’ experience.

What is new in HyperOS 2.0 on Xiaomi 12T?

The HyperOS 2.0 is rooted on Android 15, providing users with Xiaomi 12T with the latest in Android innovation. The new release brings a new system UI, improved RAM management, and AI-based optimizations in terms of efficiency. Some key highlights are:

Direct updating is not available

Currently, the OS2.0.2.0.VLQMIXM is available in a beta release. Registered users on beta in Xiaomi can look for the update via:

Settings > About Phone > System Update
Click on “Check for updates”.
Download and install if available.

A wider release is planned in a matter of weeks from now, once stability and bug fixing is achieved across all users.
