Xiaomi solved the issue of "Taking a Video Too Slow" in HyperOS

Xiaomi has confirmed a video recording issue with certain devices that utilize HyperOS. The company confirmed in the Xiaomi Weekly Bug Report that the users of the Redmi Note 14 5G and POCO M7 Pro 5G experience delayed video starts during video recording. The issue has been identified in OS1.0.7.0.UOQIDXM and OS1.0.6.0.UOQMIDC and has been identified and confirmed by Xiaomi. The company has the issue in review and has Xiaomi engineers working on a solution. Users affected should keep an eye on HyperOS updates as Xiaomi further fine-tunes the software for optimization and improvement in performance. Xiaomi has not provided a timeline for the solution but promises improvements will be forthcoming.

Response of Xiaomi to the Problem

Xiaomi has confirmed that the “Slow to Take a Video” problem is presently in development. The problem does not afflict everybody, however, and impacted users have been complaining of delays in commencing video recordings, possibly frustrating if critical events need to be recorded quickly. The company has been testing patches and will be releasing a software update in the near future.
