In a first for the Chinese automotive industry, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra has reached its maiden milestone by setting a new record at the legendary Chengdu Tianfu Circuit. The electric performance sedan is now officially the fastest four-door production car to lap this circuit, completing a lap in a scorching 1 minute, 26.741 seconds. The achievement marks an important milestone in Xiaomi’s automotive adventure and is a testament to the company’s determination to push the boundaries of electric vehicle performance.

Track Performance and Technical Specifications

The SU7 Ultra’s remarkable performance is underpinned by breathtaking technical specifications. With a peak horsepower of 1,548PS and the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds, this electric powerhouse showcases cutting-edge automotive technology. The vehicle’s aerodynamic elements generate a peak downforce of 285kg, which serves to give it its phenomenal handling and stability at high speed.

Market Availability and Pricing

Xiaomi has been offering static display experiences at 112 stores across 42 cities in China since February 5, allowing potential customers to see the car in person. The pre-sale price is 814,900 yuan (approximately $113,000) with a 10,000 yuan fully refundable deposit. The official launch will be in March, when Xiaomi officially enters the premium electric vehicle market.
