Xiaomi 12S has received HyperOS 2 update in China

The exclusive to China Xiaomi 12S has started receiving the HyperOS 2 update through the Mi Pilot program. Well, the Xiaomi 12 series was scheduled to receive the update by the end of this month, and the rollout has just begun as expected.

• Release Type: Mi Pilot (Early Access)

It first is made available to Mi Pilot users in China, after which a stable version probably shows up after some test and feedback cycles.

• Better system fluidity and more advanced privacy settings.
• AI-Camera Optimizations: This improves photo and video quality through the use of more intelligent algorithms.

Global ROM Availability

The Xiaomi 12S, a China-exclusivity gadget, will be a device lacking official global ROM; however, users will find their route through the ROM called Xiaomi.eu where, in return, they shall be provided with experience of multilinguals and even eliminate Chinese bloatware.

The xiaomi.eu ROM for Xiaomi 12S may be ready in a few days.
