Xiaomi YU7 SUV unveils more exterior shots, will go on sale next year in June-July

While continuously teasing people about the introduction of this SUV, called Xiaomi YU7, new photos have been released showing all sides of the car. Following the presentation of official pictures yesterday, the real-life photos of the car came online, presented by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Design Highlights

The new Xiaomi YU7 SUV has retained most of the sleek design language from its predecessor, the Xiaomi SU7. In the front, there is a closed grille design, headlight contours, and front surround shapes that remain consistent. The back features a modern through-type taillight design and is completed with a roof-mounted rear spoiler for added aerodynamic aesthetics.

Dimensions and Layout

Following the official specifications of the dimensions, the Xiaomi YU7 measures:

  • Length: 4999 mm
  • Width: 1996 mm
  • Height: 1600 mm
  • wheelbase: 3000 mm

The SUV will take after the spacious 5-seat layout, with several kinds of rim performances, such as 19-inch, 20-inch, and 21-inch ones.

Power and Performance

Under the hood, the Xiaomi YU7 relies on a dual-motor drive. The front motor produces up to 220 kW of maximum power output, while the rear one is capable of 288 kW. Ternary lithium battery pack is fitted to the vehicle; however, Xiaomi hasn’t disclosed its capacity as of yet.

Launch Timeline and Expected Pricing

Xiaomi Motors confirmed that the Xiaomi YU7 would officially go to market in June-July 2025. For a reference, the price of Xiaomi SU7 ranges from RMB 215,900 (27,000 USD) and 299,900 (42,000 USD), which might be a hint regarding the price bracket for YU7. The new Xiaomi YU7 seeks to build upon the success created by its predecessor, the Xiaomi SU7, by offering new innovations while remaining competitive in the electric SUV market.
