But the big bombshell will be the long-anticipated Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which is expected to arrive in February 2025. Regarding this flagship model, for months there have been rumored news and leaks. Now, thanks to tipster Yogesh Brar, we can see at least a design and possible specs of this phone.
Spectacular Design with Enhanced Camera Setup
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is going to be extremely eye-catching with its exceptional design. Among these striking highlights, there is likely the addition of a large, round camera module to its rear with four lenses. Adding to this design is the Leica branding that ascertains some advanced photography capabilities. A periscope zoom lens, which will most likely be huge compared to earlier models, sits on the right-hand side of the camera module.
The periscope module will have a resolution of 200 MP with 4.3x optical zoom and an f/2.6 aperture, all powered by Samsung’s ISOCELL HP9 sensor measuring 1/1.4″. It could support as high as 90W of wired charging and 80W of wireless charging to let users refill their phones fairly quickly without having to wait for a long time.
HyperOS 2 and AI Integration The software driving the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be powered by Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2. Based on Android 15, this will be tuned to glean maximum performance from both the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and its AI capabilities.
