Development for HyperOS by Xiaomi is going on at an exponential rate, and the latest HyperOS Weekly Report 45 carries a plethora of bug fixes and improvements across various Xiaomi devices. Such reports are very important to keep users in touch with the status of issues they have experienced and to show evidence that a company really cares about users. Let’s go back to this week’s highlighted issues and their present status.
Issue 01: Frame Drops While Recording Video
- Affected Products: Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, POCO X6 5G
- Affected Version: OS1.0.9.0.UNRIDXM
Some of the users reported that while recording videos, they had to go through frame drops that really did make dents in the final footage regarding smoothness.

Issue 02: Android Auto Black Screen
- Affected Products: Xiaomi 14T Pro, Xiaomi 14T
- Affected versions: OS1.0.11.0.UNNEUXM, OS1.0.10.0.UNEEUXM
Android Auto users on Xiaomi 14T Pro and Xiaomi 14T simply got a black screen when trying to connect.
- Status: A patch regarding this will be released very soon. Your patience and feedback are much appreciated!
Issue 03: Not able to Play BGMI at 90FPS
- Product Affected: POCO F6
- Vulnerable Version: OS1.0.6.0.UNPINXM
Gamers using POCO F6 complained that they are unable to play BGMI, popularly known as Battlegrounds Mobile India, at 90FPS.
- Status: Now fixed in our latest Cloud control update, which is currently rolling out to customers. Thanks for your feedback!
Issue 04: Video Playback Issue in Instagram
- Affected Product: Xiaomi 13T Pro
- Affected Versions: OS1.1.4.0.VMLEUXM.BETA, OS1.1.3.0.VMLMIXM.BETA
Some users of the Xiaomi 13T Pro had a problem with Instagram playing videos.
- Status: The issue has now been resolved through the latest update on Instagram. Please update your app for uninterrupted playing. Thanks for your feedback!
Issue 05: Touchscreen Not Working Due to Green Sensor
- Affected Product: Xiaomi 13T Pro
- Affected Versions: OS1.1.4.0.VMLEUXM.BETA, OS1.1.3.0.VMLMIXM.BETA
Users complained that the touchscreen would disable itself due to a green sensor interference, which was on the top right side of the device.
- Status: We will be correcting this with HyperOS 2.0.
Issue 06: Multiple Streaming Applications Not Working Affected Products: Multiple products, majority with Xiaomi Pad 6
They said that a number of streaming applications also went out of commission due to the Widevine key issue.
- Status: The Xiaomi firm has devised a workaround for the affected users. Here’s a step-by-step guide to make it functional:
- Open Settings > Click on My Devices
- Click on Detailed Info and Specs > Click on Kernel Version
- Open CIT > Touch the last item in CIT
- Click Security Certification Update and follow the on-screen instructions to restart your device. And thank you for your patience!
Issue 07: Cannot Send SMS
- Product Affected: Redmi Note 13 NFC
- Affected Вersions: OS1.0.4.0.UNHRUXM, OS1.0.6.0.UNHRUXM
Some users reported that they were unable to send SMS messages from the devices.

Issue 08: No Response Interface While Receiving Calls
- Affected Products: Redmi Note 13 NFC, Redmi Note 13
- Affected Versions: OS1.0.5.0.UNHTRXM, OS1.0.7.0.UNGMIXM
A few users reported that when receiving calls, the answering interface does not pop up.

Issue 09: AI Services Not Working

Issue 10: Android Auto Connection Failure –

Several users reported problems in connecting their device to Android Auto.
- Status: An update has been made to resolve this issue. Users are encouraged to update their system.
Issue 11: Disconnection of DNS
- Affected Products: Multiple Products
- Affected Versions: Various versions
Several users experienced DNS disconnections across various devices and versions.
- Status: Xiaomi is working on the problem. In the meantime, recommends updating GMSCore.
This week’s report puts a stamp on Xiaomi’s efforts to fix various issues, from minor bugs down to big performance hindrances, on an array of different devices. My mobile phone Redmi note 13 pro 5g, purchased in end of Jan 24, my problem is some photos like camera or screenshot are disappearing it self saying that format is not supporting or deleted, kindly look into solve this problem at earliest please.
After the Mi 11 Ultra update to Android 14 and Hyper OS, the fingerprint does not work. Xiaomi does not fix this big bug. Xiaomi is very weak in updates. I will not buy any of Xiaomi products again.
Did also report about battery draining issue in Xiaomi 14T.
On my Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G sometimes when I put the sounds on mute or vibration it comes back up for no reason at all..?
Would also like to point out that iphone iOS 18.01 control center is dope would love to see it on my Xiaomi Redmi phone definitely….
