Xiaomi 14T Pro outlasts 14 Ultra in battery tests

A month-old presentation, the Xiaomi 14T Pro has been doing very well in the battery performance category, making an even better result than the future Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The synthetic battery performance test of TechNick on YouTube told about the endurance of different flagship smartphones, and here is how Xiaomi’s latest T-series device has proved to be among the best.

Battery Performance: A Close Contest Among Flagships

In the battery test, several top-tier devices took part: iPhone 16 Pro Max, Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Xiaomi 14T Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The results were as follows:

  1. iPhone 16 Pro Max: It lasts 11 hours and 8 minutes.
  2. Huawei Pura 70 Ultra: 11 hours
  3. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: 9 hours 24 minutes
  4. Xiaomi 14T Pro: 9 hours 21 minutes
  5. Google Pixel 9 Pro XL: 9 hours 19 minutes
  6. iPhone 15 Pro Max: 8 hours 48 minutes
  7. Xiaomi 14 Ultra: 7 hours 21 minutes

Pitted against a slew of powerful opponents, the Xiaomi 14T Pro has truly pulled out all the stops, managing an astonishing 9 hours 21 minutes to make its mark well ahead of even the likes of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, while sibling Xiaomi 14 Ultra brought up the rear with a paltry 7 hours 21 minutes.

Heat Management: Efficiency of Xiaomi 14T Pro

As for heat dissipation, Xiaomi 14T Pro did pretty well too. Its peak temperature was higher than 56.7 °C, ranking it right in the middle among all devices tested. The hottest among them all was the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, reaching as high as 66 °C, while the coolest one of all was the iPhone 15 Pro Max with its peak at 49.2 °C. All of this points even more to the efficiency of Xiaomi 14T Pro in maintaining its temperature with its 5000mm² 3D IceLoop Cooling.

The T-Series Legacy: Will the Xiaomi 14T Pro Be the Next Favorite?

The Xiaomi T-series has always been popular, but with the release of the Xiaomi 9T Pro five years ago, it still managed to hold the mantle as one of the favorite models in the series because of its outstanding performance and value. Fast-forward to the creation of the Xiaomi 14T Pro, which will eventually after all take over the mantle as another favorite within the lineup of the T-series due to its excellent battery life, cutting-edge features, and power efficiency.

In support, the Xiaomi 14T Pro has been provided with a number of impressive features to back it up:

Equipped with powerful specifications-a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SOC, further combined with a 144Hz Pro HDR OLED display enhanced with AI and Leica camera features-the device is perfect for those who want the performance of a flagship but without a price tag similar to that of the Ultra model.
