We previously mentioned that OPPO Enco R2 will be released alongside the OPPO Reno10 series, and now OPPO Enco R2 has been officially announced in China. As of May 24, it is uncertain whether this new true wireless earbuds will be available in the global market, we will let you know once it hits the global market. Since OPPO Reno10 series will be available globally, we expect this earbuds to be introduced globally as well. OPPO Enco R2 is priced at 349 CNY in China (around 50 USD).
OPPO Enco R2
OPPO Enco R2 comes in a gold color variant, with the model number ETE81 for the earphones and ETE82 for the charging case. OPPO claims that the new Hi-Fi Digital Signal Processor (DSP) in the earbuds offers a processing power increase of approximately 2500%. This improvement ensures a clearer audio experience compared to previous OPPO earphones. The earphones feature Hi-Fi 5 and employ 13.4mm drivers.
OPPO Enco R2 supportS Bluetooth 5.3 and allow simultaneous connection with two devices. A quick 10-minute charge provides around 2 hours of listening time for OPPO Enco R2. Each earphone is equipped with a 27 mAh battery. The earbuds is also IP54 certified, making it resistant to sweat and water.
OPPO Enco R2 supports AAC or SBC codecs for audio playback and CVSD and MSBC codecs for calls. OPPO also made a special software feature on OPPO branded phones, a pop-up window appears once the earbuds is connected to the phone.
