A blogger on Weibo points out that the new Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 series will have some great hardware: Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processors. Also expected within the tablet series is an 11.16-inch 144Hz LCD display for smooth visuals to make entertainment and productivity very easy.

  • The high-end model will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, promising increased performance to cater to demanding applications such as gaming and multimedia editing.

Charging Capabilities

  • The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 model comes with support for 67W fast charging to easily refill your machine.
  • The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 variant will have 45W charging for solid, everyday refueling of the battery.

Endurance and Longevity

The Weibo blogger further touched on the long life cycle of tablets: the Mi Pad 7 series is designed for use in the next four to five years. Processors will naturally get older, but doing so carefully will extend the usability of such devices. Given the balance between high-end hardware and long-term performance, this series of tablets will surely be a future-proof investment for consumers.

Release Date and Certification

The Xiaomi Pad 7 series that just sailed through radio approval certification on August 27th is good to go. According to sources, the new tablet will be officially introduced later this month with the highly anticipated smartphones from the Xiaomi 15 series.

Comparison: Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro For reference, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro was launched earlier this year back in February, with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with a larger 12.4-inch 3K display. The Mi Pad 7 series then carries on that trend of offering very up-to-date technology but perhaps refines the hardware and feature sets to suit different types of users.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 series promises to be a powerful addition, capable of multitasking within their lineup at Xiaomi. Be it for gaming, work, or media consumption, the inclusion of processors like Snapdragon 7+/8s Gen 3 and 144Hz display makes this quite a formidable competitor in the tablet market. Stay tuned for an official launch later this month in order to see exactly how this new series shapes up in Xiaomi’s ever-expanding tech ecosystem.
