Xiaomi Auto keeps moving at a fast upward stride as the company reports it has delivered more than 10,000 units of the Xiaomi SU7 in September 2024 alone. That marks four months in a row that the company has reached the delivery target and will position Xiaomi Auto to reach over its annual goal well ahead of its schedule.
Key Milestones and Projections:
- 10,000 Units Delivered in September: Xiaomi Auto delivered more than 10,000 units in September, continuing XI AMI Auto’s strong performance in the Chinese EV market.
- Target for October Production: In light of increasing demand, production at the Xiaomi Motors factory is being ramped up to a monthly target of 20,000 units in October. The extended output is opposed to an exceptionally high volume of new orders, that has already crossed the 4,000 a week mark. Overwhelming demand has pushed the delivery cycle into February 2025.
- On Track for Annual Target: Xiaomi Auto would achieve an annual delivery target of 100,000 units in November, considerably ahead of conservative initial estimates.
- Market Comparison: Performance by Xiaomi Auto in September puts the company shoulder to shoulder with several of the most aggressive players in the unforgiving EV market of China. Though brands like BYD and Geely reported formidable numbers, consistent growth and strategic planning on the part of Xiaomi Auto send signals for its rise as an aggressively growing player in the sector.
With growing demand, Xiaomi Auto is therefore on its way to having its best year so far, with the Xiaomi SU7 turning into an excellent competitor within the Chinese EV market. Further updates are expected to be given in the coming months as Xiaomi is going to accelerate production and the delivery schedule at a faster rhythm.
