Xiaomi 14T series does not include a charger in the box

Following the similar move it made earlier this year, Xiaomi has silently introduced a major change with the launch of its latest Xiaomi 14T series. It did this earlier this year with the Redmi 13 on June 24, 2024, and on today’s global unveiling of the Xiaomi 14T series, Xiaomi has opted again to not include the charger in the box.

This was not publicly declared at the Xiaomi 14T event, but perceptive viewers noticed that the official website listing for the Xiaomi 14T no longer included a charger in the contents of the box. This walks in line with the general industry trend of attempting to reduce electronic waste, but it will be rather surprising news for some of the Xiaomi fans out there who have been getting chargers inside the box.

A New Era for Xiaomi: No In-Box Charger From Now On?

The no charger-in-the-box represents a greater commitment to sustainability by Xiaomi in reducing electronic waste in the environment. Of course, that will be a disappointment for some users, but Xiaomi has high-speed chargers available for sale, which means one can always get any new charger that could possibly be needed. With the Xiaomi 14T series hitting the global market, the company has shown that it has made considerations for improving with advanced technology and premium features but also made a few steps toward sustainability. Stay tuned for more updates and launches from Xiaomi, as the brand is still busy creating more wonders.

Terrible decision. If I’m going to buy a cell phone without a charger in the box, I’ll buy Samsung or Apple.

I think this will some how be a deciding
factor that will affect purchases in Africa.
Except other brands do same. For me If I ever need to get a new phone I will go for those with charger.

Man what the hell if the middle class people had money they would have buy very expensive phone with the charger separate. What kind of environment saving is this when you need to buy the charger separate this is absolutely makes no sense any how I think it is time to find another brand with charger.
